Client: Shepherd Developments Trinity Walk is a major retail development in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, that was completed in 2011 as part of a larger urban regeneration scheme. Spanning 550,000 sq. ft. and located on a 13.5-acre site, the shopping centre features more than 40 retail units, anchored by Sainsbury's and the former Debenhams. The centre is designed around an L-shaped partially enclosed mall covered by a large ETFE roof, which allows natural light to flood the space while providing weather protection. The development includes a multi-storey car park with over 1,000 spaces, ensuring convenience for shoppers. Trinity Walk has been a key player in revitalising Wakefield’s city centre, attracting significant footfall and becoming a popular destination for both local shoppers and visitors.
