Our Role

BWB was appointed to provide comprehensive design and environmental services for the Harbour Central project. Our role began with project management activities to drive and coordinate the production of a detailed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This assessment involved preparing the Environmental Statement, compiling technical chapters provided by our team and other stakeholders, and ensuring that the document addressed all regulatory requirements and community concerns.

Complex stakeholder management

Our team’s expertise in managing complex stakeholder relationships was pivotal to the project’s success. We engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, and regulatory bodies, to gather accurate information and data needed for the EIA. This process required meticulous planning and coordination to ensure that all inputs were considered and incorporated effectively.

Environmental stability

During the design stage, we focused on integrating environmental sustainability into the project’s framework. This involved developing strategies to manage the project’s environmental impacts, such as air quality, noise, and waste management, and implementing measures to enhance the site’s ecological value. BWB’s work culminated in the delivery of a comprehensive Environmental Statement, instrumental in securing planning consent and ensuring the development proceeded in line with environmental best practices.
