BWB Consulting strengthens Leeds presence with move to West Village

BWB Consulting is expanding its presence in Leeds with a move to new offices at West Village, reflecting the continued growth of its team, client base and project portfolio across Yorkshire and the wider North.

The integrated engineering and environmental consultancy will relocate from its current Whitehall Waterfront office to Suite 7C, West Village, on Wellington Street, providing a new base for its growing Leeds team and the next stage of BWB’s development in the city.

The move follows a period of sustained growth for the Leeds office, with the team supporting major projects across Yorkshire and beyond, further strengthening relationships with clients across the property, infrastructure and public sectors.

West Village is a major city-centre, sustainable redevelopment workspace campus developed by Bruntwood SciTech, located within walking distance of Leeds railway station. The development provides collaborative meeting and breakout spaces alongside a landscaped central courtyard, wellness facilities, cycle storage, showers and other facilities designed around modern ways of working.

For BWB, the move is about more than additional space. It provides an environment that supports BWB’s people’s wellbeing, continued recruitment and growth, while creating more opportunities for teams, clients, and project partners to work together.

Growing with Leeds and Yorkshire

BWB has an established presence in Leeds and works across a diverse range of sectors, combining engineering, environmental, infrastructure, project management and placemaking expertise.

The Leeds team is contributing to a growing portfolio of projects that are helping shape the city and wider region.

Among them is the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease at Seacroft Hospital, where BWB provided M&E consultancy as part of the wider project team. The centre opened in November 2025 and is the UK’s first purpose-built centre dedicated entirely to MND care, research, education and holistic support.

The team is also involved in the development of Joseph Norton SEMH and New Woodley SEND Schools, with the company providing integrated services for the projects. With planning permission granted and initial groundworks in progress, the schools will soon be open to accommodate around 180 pupils with complex needs.

They are also continuing to support the development of the Wakefield Hub with their expert, integrated services. Having been involved for several years, BWB have enabled the site to unlock land for developments that cater to unique clients’ needs.

Together, the projects demonstrate the breadth of expertise based within the Leeds office and its ability to draw on specialist teams from across BWB to support clients from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery.

Leadership for the next stage of growth

The Leeds office is led by Directors Kim Carter and Kerry Spencer, who are jointly responsible for its continued development, with Kim leading business development and Kerry leading operational delivery.

Their leadership of the office follows their promotion to Director earlier this year. Kim also leads BWB’s Strategic Land market nationally, while Kerry leads its Education market.
