Services we provided Mechanical, Electrical & Building Services Digital Engineering & BIM Environmental & Sustainability Consulting Utilities Engineering Our Role BWB was appointed to provide mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering consultancy services, from concept through to detailed design and project completion. Our M&E team developed an energy-efficient design incorporating solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, enabling on-site energy generation and reducing energy consumption. Responsible design The client placed a strong emphasis on achieving an energy-efficient building, and BWB’s expertise enabled us to exceed their expectations. One of the key challenges we addressed was integrating these systems into a highly insulated building envelope to minimise heat loss and enhance the building’s overall energy performance. Precise engineering Our mechanical design focused on delivering high-quality heating and ventilation systems that maintained comfort levels throughout the pavilion, while the electrical design included energy-efficient LED lighting and power distribution systems to support a range of activities. Coordinated digital delivery We also utilised BIM software to coordinate the M&E services with the architectural and structural designs, ensuring seamless integration and reducing potential conflicts. Our design incorporated discreet service routes and utilised BIM to achieve a high level of coordination.
