Client: Tritax Intermodal Logistics Park North is a 221-acre Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) and logistics hub in St Helens, located within the Liverpool City Region’s Freeport zone near Junction 22 of the M6. Led by Tritax Symmetry the project will deliver approximately 2.5 million square feet of logistics space and includes a direct connection to the national rail network via the St Chad’s railway line. This SRFI is designed to support North-South and East-West freight movements, enhancing the UK's supply chain infrastructure by shifting goods from road to rail, reducing CO2 emissions, and alleviating road congestion. The project also benefits from a £24 million investment into the Parkside Link Road, which will improve access to the site and surrounding employment areas.
