Proven Project Experience: Delivering on the Strategic Road Network

Our experience includes:

M621 In partnership with National Highways, Keltbray embarked on the £49.8m M621 Junctions 1 to 7 Improvement Scheme. This project enhances the safety and efficiency of a crucial urban motorway in Leeds, supporting the region’s economic growth and community wellbeing.
M1 Junction 24 East Midlands Gateway is a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project. This £500 million logistics park, privately financed by SEGRO, creates over 7,000 jobs. It is centrally located at the hub of the region’s strategic road network adjacent to East Midlands Airport and M1 J24.
A52 Radcliffe on Trent A52 Radcliffe-on-Trent is undergoing wide-ranging works: resurfacing, LED lighting, drainage, and barrier upgrades, using hi-tech safety systems for rapid delivery. Concurrent Cadent gas infrastructure improvements are underway, with multi-way signals adding to local disruption.
M1 Junction 15 M1 Junction 15 was upgraded from a “dumbbell” layout to larger signalised gyratories, with widened slip roads and improved turning geometry. Completed in 2023, the works now support smoother traffic flow and connectivity with nearby logistics infrastructure.
M1 Bridge – Kegworth Bypass A 1,200‑tonne composite bridge for the Kegworth Bypass was prefabricated, then slid into place across the M1 using SPMTs over a single weekend. Completed in 2018 as part of East Midlands Gateway, it diverted traffic from Kegworth and boosted regional connectivity.
A50 Grade Separated Junction A grade‑separated junction (3A) and 1.6 km link road off the A50, south of Derby, will unlock the Infinity Garden Village development. Funded via a £49.6 M Levelling Up award, it improves traffic flow, supports housing and jobs, and includes sustainable infrastructure.
M56 Junction 7 & 8 Upgrades at M56 J7/8 include roundabout reconfiguration for improved flow, new toucan crossings, cycle tracks, revised slip roads, embankments, and tie-ins to the A556. Works aim to enhance safety, capacity, and connectivity for all users.
M1 Junction 18 Realignment of the roundabout circulatory, upgrades to crossings and footways, new traffic signals and maintenance hardstanding are planned at M1 J18 to improve flow, safety, and access on approaches, including the A428 and surrounding routes.
