BWB secure key position on Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM)’s Transport Professional Services (TPS) Framework

BWB have successfully been appointed to Lot 11 Design & Engineering Services – Buildings under Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM)’s four-year Transport Professional Services (TPS) Framework.

Supporting the Next Phase of the Bee Network

As part of this prestigious framework, BWB will deliver design and engineering services for projects that include transport stations and interchanges. We will collaborate with trusted delivery partners Jefferson Sheard Architects, Layer Studio and NJL Consulting to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach.

The framework is backed by £2.5 billion in funding and supports the next phase of the Bee Network, TfGM’s vision for a world-class, integrated public transport and active travel system that is locally controlled and accountable to the people of Greater Manchester.

Transforming Public Transport Across the Region

TfGM’s TPS Framework is central to plans to transform Greater Manchester into the first region outside of London with a fully electric, low-fare, and high-usage transport system. This transformation will include bike, bus, tram, and train networks working seamlessly together to better connect communities.

In addition to Greater Manchester, the framework will be accessible to other public sector contracting authorities in the North West, North East, Yorkshire, East Midlands, and West Midlands, including:

  • Regional combined authorities
  • Local and county councils
  • Community councils
  • Emergency services (police, fire, ambulance)
