Job Advertising Create a consistent look and feel to job advertisements that go beyond top line messaging and highlight more of the cultural USPs of BWB as an employer of choice across all regions and specialisms, with an increased presence on specialist job boards.
Candidate Experience By ensuring a great experience to all candidates, the external market will become our advocates – creating high levels of engagement with all touch points on the recruitment journey from application > interview > feedback > offer / rejection process > on-boarding. Early Careers Recruitment To future proof our workforce we recognise the significance of investing in early careers. We work closely with our colleagues within the Learning and Development specialism within our HR function and stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruitment and on-boarding journey whilst contributing to the retention of this key cohort and the future of BWB. Internal Referrals In 2021 we launched a refreshed Internal Referral Bonus paying £2,000 to BWB colleagues for each successful referral. We recognise we need your help to hire talented individuals across the business and hugely appreciate and value your support. Hiring Process
Social Media & PR We work closely with the Communication and Marketing experts who manage the BWB social feeds. These feature messaging about our office and business culture – success stories of our staff, initiatives, and tangible Business Development in areas such as sustainability, CSR, diversity, and equity. Talent Pool We maximise use of existing data, contacts and search tools, such as Linked-In to proactively attract talent to BWB and create readily available talent pools and keep them ‘warm’ and engaged with BWB. Hiring Process
Competitors We target and understand who BWB’s competitors are, so we directly engage with their employees via social media, making appropriate direct approaches. Hiring Process
Alumni We actively engage and encourage where appropriate previous employees of BWB to return to the business. Hiring Process
International hiring In support of our Business Plan, we have launched a new International Hiring Policy to enable the business to recruit overseas into key roles. Hiring Process
Recruitment Agencies We do not accept any speculative CVs from recruitment agencies or suppliers that are not part of our preferred supplier list. We have a PSL (Preferred Supplier List) of approved agency suppliers that have agreed to BWB recruitment teams. We will engage with recruitment agencies when appropriate or when we have exhausted all other search options for roles. Hiring Process
