Waste Management

Waste strategies are becoming increasingly complex and planning for waste management services is becoming more and more important in early project design. Whether it is difficult access to a building for service vehicle, or finding a sustainable waste recovery or recycling outlet for your project, BWB can help.

All construction projects costing in excess of GBP300K now require a Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) and many local planning authorities are enforcing this requirement through the planning process. At BWB we are able to prepare SWMPs suitable for planning, procurement and construction phases of the project and provide supplementary monitoring services through implementation if required.

BWB offer the technical capability to complete Material Management Plans in line with the CL:AIRE Development Industry Code of Practice for the Definition of Waste including collation of lines of evidence, demonstration of suitability for re-use and consultation with regulating authorities to demonstrate no objection.
