Thermal Modelling Bookmark and Share

To fully understand the thermal performance of a building, and its environmental impact, it is essential that detailed computer generated thermal models are undertaken.

Through thermal modelling BWB can assist Clients, Architects and the design team in understanding how design decisions influence energy consumption, carbon emissions, thermal comfort, daylight and other building performance metrics.

Planning applications often require Clients to demonstrate to Local Authorities how the proposed building addresses their Sustainability and Low Carbon Agenda and meet Building Regulations. We can help achieve this through thermal modelling and through early economic appraisals of the building form and envelope we can ensure that early strategic decisions do not have undesirable economic implication later.
