Within BWB we offer a fully comprehensive Surveying service covering a wide range of geospatial and civil engineering surveying skills. With extensive experience in the surveying industry and combined with our core engineering skills, BWB can truly offer a bespoke and professional service to our clients. Our key focus with all our surveys is accuracy, speed and best value products. Detailed surveys carried out of all types of buildings, of any size in order to produce Internal Layout Plans, Cross Sections and Detailed Elevations plus Gross Internal Area (GIA) and Net Internal Area (NIA) calculations.
BWB are a forward thinking company and see that the use of the latest technology gives benefits not just to us but also our clients. 3D Laser Scanning provides a fast and simple method for 3D data capture and highly detailed measurement of large objects or environments. This is the latest technology in the survey world and produces truly amazing results.
WHY USE 3D LASER SCANNING?
SPEED - Complex 3D environments are captured faster than alternative techniques. Return visits are generally not required due to the completeness of the data capture.
ACCURACY - From sub-millimetre on small object scans to 25mm on objects at distances up to 250m.
SITE ACCESS AND SAFETY - As a remote observation instrument site access may only be needed once or possibly not at all.
ASSET MANAGEMENT - As a complete snapshot of a given site/object the data provides an invaluable archive/library resource.
Processing all our data through Autodesk Revit we can provide greater flexibility producing 3D models which can be incorporated directly into a BIM environment. This presents a great opportunity to provide the client with a complete 3D laser scanning and BIM package which we deliver on all our projects at no extra cost.
