FLOOD RISK AND FLOOD CONSEQUENCE ASSESSMENTS
Driven by the requirements of the NPPF (England) and TAN15 (Wales), BWB has experience of producing a significant volume of high quality Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) & Flood Consequence Assessments (FCA), often incorporating the need for detailed hydrological assessment, hydraulic modelling and surface water drainage assessment. FRAs & FCAs are an integral part of the planning process for the majority of development sites. Within the requirements of the NPPF FRAs also form a significant part of the Sequential & Exception Test process
CATCHMENT-WIDE STRATEGIC FLOOD RISK ASSESSMENTS
BWB also undertake Catchment-Wide Strategic Flood Risk Assessments to analyse, assess and map flooding on a catchment wide level to inform business cases for asset improvement and replacement. We also have extensive experience for national scale assessments for multiple sites to inform business continuity plans and future investments.
