Earthworks

Earthworks can be a significant cost in development and a constraint to what can be achieved on a given site from a sustainability perspective while at the same time maximising development potential.

Using the latest modelling software, BWB Consulting can optimise earthworks solutions to secure the re-use of site won materials to avoid import and disposal costs - the cut/fill balance holy-grail.

Also relevant is the condition of the material, both from a structural suitability perspective and contamination status. BWB has the in-house expertise to assess both and to factor into our earthworks solutions the strategies for environmental remediation and structural solutions to deal with sub-optimal earthworks conditions.

Whether it is for a simple road scheme or heavily loaded industrial distribution building, we have the experience needed to design the right earthworks solution for the development.

BWB can also provide on-site supervisory staff to see that earthworks are completed in compliance with the design, producing validation reporting should that be required by regulators or stakeholders in the development such as finance providers.
