Lygon Place is a Grade II listed Edwardian building within the Belgravia Conservation Area. It consists of six substantial red brick town houses facing a central forecourt. The two end bays have a similar treatment with projecting Portland Stone bays to the ground and first floors and a multi-gabled roof. The project comprised the upgrade and refurbishment, both internally and externally, of the Grade II listed building including the creation of an underground car park and private leisure facilities.
BWB Consulting was appointed by O&H Properties Ltd to undertake CDM Co-ordinator duties on this project. Due to the nature of the project and the congested working space, the construction works posed several health and safety risks. However, through careful planning and close liaison with the site team, these risks were successfully mitigated and managed by the Contractor, the Client's Project Manager and the CDM Co-ordinator.
