PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BWB Consulting have provided multi-Discipline consultancy services for this significant project in the centre of Nottingham, forming part of the wider south side regeneration scheme. The building incorporates a multi storey car park, library retail units and bus station.

BWB Consulting were initially engaged by Nottingham City Council to assess the original carpark; through monitoring, a series of intrusive surveys and concrete investigations, in order determine whether refurbishment was feasible. These works determined refurbishment would not be viable and hence BWB subsequently provided the concept and detailed civil and structural designs for the new build structure.

BWB were since to have been retained as the project Civil & Structural Engineer by the appointed design and build contractor.
