350 PRS apartment scheme which has helped deliver much needed affordable and flexible living to Nottingham, and regenerated a brownfield and derelict part of the City. The building comprises of structural steel framing built off piled foundations. BWB Consulting were involved from project conception through until completion, providing Civil and structural design, Flood Risk, Drainage, Transportation, and Ground Remediation Verification consultancy advice.
The site is located within flood zone 2. BWB worked closely with the project team to develop the concept design to ensure flood risk was mitigated. This included ensuring floor levels were set at the appropriate levels and introducing flood resilient construction where required.
