PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Watermead Business Park is a multi-milion, premium quality office development on the north side of Leicester. It is ideally located, fronting the A607 at its junction with the A46, overlooking Watermead Country Park.

BWB were contracted to provide both civil and structural engineering services to design the two 3 storey office buildings from foundations to steel frame and the external permeable parking areas. BWB also provide pre planning services - flood risk and Phase 1 & 2 site investigations.

Key Challenges

The site was constrained by a public sewer along the boundary and a second running across the middle of the site. Due to SuDs requirements through planning and site restrictions a permeable paving solution was used to attenuation surface water before discharge into the public sewer.
