PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Michaelwood Motorway Service Area lies between junctions 13 and 14 of the M5 motorway in Gloucestershire and first opened in 1971. In 2012 the parking areas of both northbound and southbound sites underwent an extensive refurbishment driven by the relocation of the petrol filling stations.

BWB Consulting was the lead designer for the reconfiguration of the parking areas and circulatory roads and worked collaboratively with BP to ensure the fuel filling stations were appropriately located.
