The Grove is a residential development which has been developed under the Permitted Development planning rights. This was a 3 storey office building which is being converted into 24 one and two bedroom apartments.
The scheme is centrally located in Slough with all the town centre amenities close by. Slough lies approximately 20 miles west of central London and is bisected by the A4 and the Great Western Main Line.
BWB was appointed to carry out the civil and structural elements of the project.
The challenge relating to routing the new services through the existing floors include; minimizing any penetrations through the structural elements. This required close coordination between the Architect, Contractor and M&E engineer. As a result, the scheme is progressing to schedule.
