A major £4 million re-development of Cecil Court in Enfield will see the former office building converted into 42 one and two bedroom apartments.
BWB was appointed to deliver Civil and Structural Engineering services for the development, which is located to the West side of the A105 London Road. BWB provided structural and drainage surveys of the site together with advice and recommendations regarding intrusive works. BWB was then novated to provide structural engineering input from RIBA Stage C through to completion.
The conversion from office to residential use was made possible thanks to Permitted Development relaxation of planning legislation which has been introduced to kick-start the development of new housing and boost the construction industry.
