PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Navigation Point is a 900-dwelling riverside residential development which is located within walking distance of Castleford town centre. In addition to a range of 1,2 ,3 and 4 bedroom homes, the completed development will also feature a civic square, children's play areas, an Eco park, community shops and restaurants, riverside fishing pegs and boat moorings.

This exciting development is being delivered in five phases and BWB Consulting was appointed by Greenhaven Homes to deliver full infrastructure design from the project's inception, through planning and now on-site building out phase one. Our specialist services have included Section 38 and Section 278 highway design plus Section 104 drainage design.

BWB was also appointed to provide the structural design of the 900 homes. The dwellings are of typical house construction and designed in accordance with the Eurocodes and Approved Documents A were applicable. We also acted in an advisory capacity by reviewing all sub-contractors drawings and information prior to the construction of each house.
