BWB were commissioned to provide advice to support the land sale of this proposed residential development which would comprise of 80 plots with associated parking, landscaping areas, infrastructure and drainage.
Our specialist teams undertook a review of the existing available information with regards to drainage, geotechnical and geo-environmental design.
Following the assessment of the land buyers engineering solution proposals and the associated costs for individual items, BWB were able to identify circa £270,000 worth of cost savings within the proposed abnormals. These savings were associated with overdesign and overpricing. Subsequently our client was able to negotiate an equivalent increase in the land value.
