BWB was selected as the Signalling Layout designer for French Hill Depot in August 2020 by CAF Signalling. A JV of CAF and Shapir in autumn 2019 won the $2.4billion contract with Jerusalem Transportation Masterplan Team (JTMT) for the Design, Build, Maintain and Operate on a 25 year concession, an extension of the existing Red Line and a new Green line. The project is due for completion in 2025.
BWB's scope consisted of the Signalling Design for French Hill Depot extension work, which included provision of the 1:250 Detailed Layout, along with a detailed design report containing Signalling Architecture and Equipment Specifications, Positioning Rules, Layout Schematic, Route Tables, Compliance Issues/constraints for both the existing & new equipment and proposed Cable Route Pit connections.
