BWB Manchester Green Travel Day

On 12th September 2019 the BWB Manchester office embarked on a green travel to work day. Swapping cars for, trams, busses, trains, bikes and some walking. They set about their daily commute ready to take on the Manchester transport system in the aim for cleaner air.

Our principal Air Quality consultants work from our Manchester office so were happy to get on board. They know that using greener ways of travelling when done by many will result in cleaner air for all, win! Our Director of Transport Warren Bennett was enthusiastic about putting the transport network to the test too, but was disappointed by the the door to door time using the bus!!

BWB are constantly striving to improve our social value by doing things to help our environment and community, whilst encouraging not just our staff but everyone else to join us through our social media updates. It was a failure from public transport point of view with a goal to contribute to Manchester’s air quality. But for BWB Manchester it was a successful day, not only did they play their part in trying to help the environment they also skipped more traffic (and stress) and celebrated with a team tipple after work, watch this space for their next venture.
