BWB Support Richborough Estates in Securing Planning Permission and Sale
06 May 2022
BWB has played an integral part in the development of a 12-acre residential site in Sholden, Kent alongside Richborough Estates.
Located off Sandwhich Road, BWB provided flood risk and drainage geoenvironmental, utilities, air-quality and noise assessments in support of the development of 110 dwellings on a Greenfield site.
The site lies above the Seaford Chalk formation meaning intrusive ground investigations, including infiltration testing, were required to be undertaken to define a suitable service water drainage system.
This site, with outlined planning permission for 110 new market and affordable homes as well as a new children's play area, woodlands, footpaths and cycle routes, has now been sold to housebuilder Barratt David Wilson.
BWB Regional Director Stuart Nelmes noted 'It was a pleasure to support Richborough in securing yet another planning permission and sale - a fantastic project team to work alongside.'
