BWB MAKES THE SUNDAY TIMES TOP 100 – AGAIN!
28 February 2018
BWB Consulting has been named one of the best places to work in the country for a second time. We’ve been ranked at number 65 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list, the second consecutive year BWB has appeared in the prestigious countdown. Our place was secured after a rigorous examination of the business by Best Companies, including an anonymous survey of all staff designed to establish how they really feel about working here.
Steve Wooler, BWB’s CEO, said: “We’re thrilled to be one of the UK’s Best Companies to work for, and I want to place on record my profound thanks to everyone in BWB who has helped us to create the great working environment that enables our business to consistently deliver great service for our Clients. This isn’t a one-off, and it’s a reflection of a conscious decision we took several years ago to build a better business by putting the focus on our people – the way we recruit them, induct them, look after them and help them grow in line with the business. We can set the strategic framework, but it is our teams who manage the relationships, develop the solutions and deliver important projects for Clients around the country. They should rightly take immense pride in being part of a Best Company because they helped make it happen."
Best Companies accreditation measures performance in areas such as employee well-being, staff rewards, personal growth, effective team work, leadership and how deeply staff buy-in to business goals.
Elizabeth Hardwick-Smith, BWB’s Head of HR, added: “It’s important for any business to involve people in the growth journey and that is a key focus for BWB, whether it’s formal business improvement teams or enabling individuals to progress. Being recognised a second time as one of the Best Companies to Work For is confirmation that people engagement and involvement is firmly embedded in our culture. It will help us achieve significant growth and diversification ambitions now that we’re part of CAF Group.”
