Environment Agency Flood Response, the Fourth Emergency Service

BWB Consulting offers its support and thanks to the Environment Agency staff, who are working hard providing invaluable flood warning and response expertise to many flood affected communities in large areas of the country, at a time when the EA is coming under great scrutiny.

Over a 10 year period BWB Consulting have developed considerable expertise in flood risk management within the development sector and we would like to highlight the large numbers of people and property that have been successfully protected by EA led flood defence and alleviation schemes during this period of unprecedented rainfall. It is unfortunate that these successes are not applauded more often. Keep up the good work!
