BWB were appointed by Wilson Bowden Developments for this prestigious retail/residential development in the centre of the City of Nottingham.
Development of an inner-city site with multi-storey residential accommodation including the refurbishment of listed buildings and the provision of new underground car parking with three retail units at ground floor along the Weekday Cross elevation.
The new structure comprises a reinforced concrete structural framed basement incorporating a contiguous piled retaining wall to the perimeter of Halifax Place and Pilcher Gate, and suspended reinforced concrete floors with a transfer beam and slab arrangement at the first floor level.
Above the transfer slab there are four storeys of load-bearing masonry and timber-framed penthouse level.
