Project Safety
BWB Project Safety undertakes risk assessments and management in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations Act of 1994.
Our project safety team are trained in all aspects of construction health and safety. Our designers and project managers are members of The Association for Project Safety and all projects are overseen by a NEBOSH trained Health and Safety Manager.
Clients and fellow professionals recognise that the experience and practical knowledge of the engineer discipline is critical to the project safety role.
As Project Safety advisors we provide a pragmatic approach to all aspects of project safety not only as recommended in the new draft Code of Practice but also acknowledged by Clients, Designers and Contractors as the most effective method to minimise health and safety risks.
Services We Offer
- Notify Health and Safety Executive of the project on behalf of the Client
- Agree communication procedures with the Client
- Demonstrate competence and adequacy of contractor resources to the Client
- Prepare and offer advice to the Client and Contractors on competence with respect to other members of the project team
- Advice on Health and Safety issues regarding the design of the building
- Liaise with designers
- Production of a Health and Safety Plan before invitation to tender
- Review and comment on changes to design as the project proceeds
- Collate safety file information from Principal Contractor and issue to client
