Opal Court is a new high rise student accommodation development, comprising 660 bed spaces in a 15 storey building in the city centre of Leicester.

The £14 million scheme is a prominent feature on the City skyline and sited on the former British Gas head office.

BWB originally support Sowden Development in the site assessment and development feasibility study prior to being novated to Hallam Contractors.

The site are constrained by local highways, adjacent buildings, an existing car park and a railway line. BWB were instrumental in resolving the logistical problems associated with constructing a high rise building on a site with minimal open space.
