For some people it´s Glastonbury and for others Last Night of the Proms, but for the Nottingham Property Industry the highlight of their musical year is the Hot Property event.

This year it is to be staged at the Cabaret Club on 10 November and for those who haven´t heard about it, all of the singers and members of the two bands have nine-to-five jobs in the East Midlands property world. We have developers, architects, solicitors, engineers, bankers, agents and lots more.

The event is in its second year and all of the money raised is donated to two local charities, Cancer & Leukemia In Children (CLIC) and Childrens Brain Tumour Research.

Expectations are running high this year after last year raising £13,000, and it is very much hoped that the 2005 event will see the £20,000 target reached.

The success of Hot Property, is in no small part, due to it being organised by our very own MD, Malcolm Wright. He has been hosting weekly rehearsals for the performers and obtaining sponsorship from local companies, and such has been the clamour for tickets they were all sold out some months ago.
