What is a Flood Risk Assessment (FRA)?

duck

An FRA is a report that determines the risk of a site flooding and also addresses how a development could affect flooding elsewhere. Our experience has shown that flood risk assessment needs to be carried out at the earliest possible opportunity. The outcome of a Flood Risk Assessment can have significant impacts on the nature and form of development, and flood risk issues may even be prohibitive to development.

BWB has over 14 years experience in riverside development and since PPS25 was published in 2001 we have carried out hundreds of successful Flood Risk Assessments.

We have a designated team capable of taking on projects of any scale that has experience throughout the UK in all manner of projects, from small developments of a few houses to major urban regeneration projects such as the £900m Nottingham Eastside scheme.
