Formed within the cartilage of an existing golf course, the new 12million Dougalston project incorporated full fitness suites, swimming pool and both indoor and outdoor tennis courts.

Located within an existing valley, the building was positioned above an existing water course in order to utilise a relatively dormant area of the site, whilst benefiting from the natural surroundings and using the water course to produce highly landscaped wild life ponds.

The use of curved steel roofs throughout assisted in blending the building into the surrounding landscapes and despite a number of civil engineering difficulties, the partnering approach to the contract enabled its completion within 38 weeks.
