Following an initial structural survey of both Stafford Taylor Buildings A and B at the Leeds City Office Park, BWB were retained as Structural Engineers for the £8million refurbishment of Building B.

Although the reinforced concrete framed building was completed in 2000, an extensive refurbishment of the former O2 office was required to achieve Centrica´s requirements.

The refurbishment, included forming vertical risers through the ribbed reinforced concrete slab, designing plant support steel, and detailing ancillary slabs.

Our Leeds city centre location proved useful in attending site at short notice, and dealing with queries from the contractor on a regular basis.
