BWB were appointed by Yorkcourt Properties Ltd to provide multidisciplinary engineering advice for their mixed-use development adjacent to M1 Junction 41 in Wakefield.
The development will consist circa 800,000 square feet of office space, créche, fast food outlet, fitness centre, pub and hotel.
BWB have been involved in this project from initial inception and have advised the client on infrastructure masterplanning of the site.
BWB undertook the initial ground investigation work on the site, produced a sustainable drainage strategy to limit surface water run-off to former green field rates and have subsequently designed the primary earthworks, highways and sewer network to serve the initial phases of development.
BWB have also provided structural engineering services for the first 7 office buildings on the site as well as the fast food outlet.
BWB enjoy close working relationship with Yorkcourt Properties and have enjoyed repeat business spanning six years of involvement.
